Guardian SMS messaging terms

Operator and program

Carlos Smith, operating VAYNOM. Sender: +1 888 833 9011. Support: help@vaynom.com. Guardian SMS is not active; verification and separate activation approval are still required.

Optional enrollment

Recipients open a manually shared private invitation, read the disclosures, choose an unchecked consent box, and verify their own phone with a code. Receiving an invitation alone does not authorize SMS. Consent is optional and not a condition of purchase. No VAYNOM account is required. Consent expires after 30 days unless revoked earlier.

Messages and charges

Messages include verification codes, missed check-in notices after a 15-minute grace period, and completion/end updates if a missed notice was submitted. No marketing is included. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. The initial seven-day pilot permits two approved U.S. recipients, at most 40 outbound submissions total and 20 per day, including codes and retries.

STOP and HELP

Once messaging is active, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You may also withdraw through your private consent link. An already submitted message may still arrive. Toll-free STOP confirmation is provider-controlled. Provider-level START does not automatically restore VAYNOM app consent. HELP replies may be unavailable after opt-out; email help@vaynom.com instead. Final provider HELP configuration is still pending.

Limitations

There is no VAYNOM monitoring team or emergency dispatch. Delivery and response are not guaranteed. Carrier, device or network issues, expired consent, opt-out and exhausted limits can prevent alerts. A missed check-in does not establish an emergency; a completion update is a traveler statement, not independent proof of safety. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Use appropriate local emergency services for urgent help.
