Guardian SMS consent explanation
Purpose
This page explains VAYNOM Guardian Check-in enrollment for sender verification. It does not collect phone numbers, enroll recipients or send messages. Operator: Carlos Smith, operating VAYNOM. Support: help@vaynom.com.
Traveler invitation
The traveler creates a private invitation and manually shares it through their chosen Messages, WhatsApp or other app. VAYNOM does not upload the traveler’s address book. Invitations expire after seven days and can be revoked.
Recipient choice
The recipient opens the private invitation, reads the disclosures, and enters their own number only if they want SMS. The consent checkbox starts unchecked. Declining is available. Requesting a verification code requires consent; accepting requires that code and consent. Private staging has a separate access gate. No VAYNOM membership is required for recipient acceptance.
Disclosure at enrollment
I agree to receive VAYNOM Guardian Check-in verification codes, missed check-in alerts and completion or end updates for this traveler at the number I provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent lasts 30 days unless revoked earlier. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
Links and support
The recipient form links to Guardian SMS privacy and terms and displays help@vaynom.com. It explains there is no VAYNOM monitoring team or emergency dispatch. Only accepted contacts explicitly selected for a check-in may receive its alerts.
Current disabled state
Live SMS and the inbound STOP webhook remain disabled. The actual recipient form displays that automatic SMS alerts are not enabled and a verification SMS cannot be sent. This explanation is not proof that the provider is configured or messages are deliverable. No real contact data, verification code or usable invitation link is included here.
